This is the last Will and Testament of me John Harby of Scalford in the County of Leicester Blacksmith and Publican made this the 16th day of October 1858

I direct all my just Debts funeral and Testamentary expences to be be paid

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Matilda Elson the Wife of John Elson, the Legacy or sum of Twenty five Pounds to be paid to her within Twelve months after my Decease

I give and bequeath all my Real and personal estates situate and being in the Parish of Scalford where I now reside with all my household Furniture and stock in Trade unto my Son William Jackson Harby and I do appoint him sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Testator have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written

Signed Sealed published by the said Testator John Harby as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as Witness to the due execution thereof
