In the name of god amen the xxiii of August and in the yere of our lorde 1576 I John Harebye of Statherne in the countie of Leicester husbandman beinge sicke in bodie but of hole and perfecte remembrance Do make this my last will & testament in manner and forme folowinge

First I bequiethe my soule to allmightie god and my bodie to be buryed in the churche yearde of Statherene

Item I do give unto John my youngest sonne xxs

Item I do give unto my three Dowghters Emmott Egnes & Johan Harebie to everie oe of them xxs

The Resydewe of my goods unbequiethed I give unto Helin my wife whom I do make the sole executrix of this my last will

Item I will also that my wife shall have the governance of my childrens partes unto they be of Lawfull yeres

In wytnes whereof to this my Laste will I have sette my hande the Daie and yere above written …  witnesses by me John Hareby
