This is the last Will and Testament of me Maria Grice of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Widow

I give to my Son Henry Grice who has worked on the farm for me many years without wages all the Stock on the farm and all the furniture in the house to be his absolutely on condition that is to say That he shall pay over to each of my daughters Mary Elizabeth, Selina and Frances thirty pounds of lawful money within one year after my decease Also to my daughter Emma sixty pounds at the same time as he pays the other legacies

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy two and I appoint my Son Executor

Proved at Leicester the First day of February 1873 by the Oath of Henry Grice Son of the deceased the Sole Executor to whom Administration was granted

The Testatrix Maria Grice was late of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Widow and died on the second day of June 1873 at Nether Broughton aforesaid
