Thomas Glover of Long Clawson 1765 Will

In the name of god amen I Thomas Glover of Clawson als Long Claxton in the County of Leicester Labourer being mindfull or my mortality do make and ordain my Last will and Testament in manner following
Imprimis I commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it, trusting for Salvation in & thro the merits of our blessed Saviour Jesus Christ & my Body to the dust to be interr’d at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named & for those few worldly goods that the Almighty has been pleas’d to bestow on my I despose of in manner following that is to say
First I give to Son Thomas Glover all that my close of pasture ground with all and every the appurtenances thereto belonging Lying and being in the Liberties of Asfordby to Continue to him his heirs or assigns for ever also I give to my said Son Thomas Glover one shilling
Also all my goods cattle chattels & personal Estate of what kind soever the same be after my Just debts are paid & my funeral expenses discharged I give to my wife Katherine Glover & to my Daughter Katherine & my Son William Glover to be divided equally betwixt them & my will & mind is that the same do continue undivided until my son William shall attain to the age of Twenty one years, and if either my wife or my Son or Daughter should chance to die before my Son attain to the age of Twenty one my will is that her, his or their part or parts go to the Survivors of them and I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife full and sole executrix of this my will revoking all former wills at any time by me made
In wittness whereof I the said testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of April one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty five
