This is the last Will and Testament of me John Glenn of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer

I Give and bequeath All my Furniture Plate Linen China Glass Dairy Utensils and Brewing Vessels unto my dear wife Jane for her own use absolutely

I give and bequeath All the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever (subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses) Unto Thomas Morris of Wycomb in the said County of Leicester Grazier Thomas Marshall of Withcote in the same County Grazier and George Hallam of Asfordby in the same County Grazier their executors administrators and assigns Upon Trust to convert such part thereof into money as may not consist of money or securities for Money And to stand possessed thereof Upon Trust to pay the Interest arising therefrom Unto my said Wife and her Assigns for and during the term of her natural life

I Give and Devise All my real Estate situate at Eaton aforesaid which I purchased of Mr Philip Ripping unto the said Thomas Morris Thomas Marshall and George Hallam Upon Trust to permit and suffer my said Wife to receive the rents and profits thereof during her natural life And after her decease I give and devise the same unto Fanny Chambers Bales the Daughter of my Niece Elizabeth Bales her heirs and assigns for ever

But in case the said Fanny Chambers Bales shall not be living at the death of my said Wife or shall die under the age of twenty one years with out leaving issue her surviving Then I Give and devise my said real Estate unto Demetrius Chambers Son of my Niece Fanny Chambers his heirs and assigns for ever

I give and bequeath unto the said Fanny Chambers Bales the Legacy of Five hundred pounds also to Henry Morris Son of the said Thomas Morris the Legacy of nineteen pounds nineteen shillings both which said Legacies I direct to be paid at the expiration of twelve calendar Months after the death of my said Wife

And as to the residue of my said personal estate and effects after the death of my said Wife I give and bequeath the same unto Anne Dexter Niece of my said Wife Annie Elizabeth Bales Annie Silvester and the said Demetrius Chambers share and share alike as Tenants in common

I devise all legal Estates vested in me as Mortgagee or otherwise unto the said Thomas Morris Thomas Marshall and George Hallam their heirs and assigns Upon the equities and Trusts affecting the same

And I appoint the said Thomas Morris Thomas Marshall and George Hallam Executors of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fifth day of July in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty four

The Testator John Glenn was late of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer and died on the twenty eighth day of September 1864 at Eaton aforesaid
