In the Name of God Amen February the 21th 1669 I Anthony Geale of Saxelby in the County of Leicester Sheapard beinge weake & sickly in Body but of good & perfect memory (praysed be the Lord for the same) doe ordane & make this my Last Will & Testament in manner & forme followinge

First I give & bequeath my soule unto Allmighty God my Creator hopeinge & verrily assureinge my selfe through the Lord his mercies & Christ my Saviours merits to be partaker of life everlastinge And my Body I bequeath to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in Christiann buriall in the Churchyarde of Saxelby aforesaid at the discretion of my Executrix & for the worldly Goodes which it hath please the Lord to lend me I doe dispose of them in manner & forme followinge

First of all I give unto my loveinge Sonne John Geale ten pounds & foure Sheepe which hee shall have libertie to chuse out of my stocke & to keepe them for his use untill the … … … for his filliall portion

Item I give unto my loveinge Sonne Anthony Geale ten Poundes for his filliall portion

Item I give unto my loveinge Daughter Mary Geale ten Poundes for her filiall portion

Item I give unto my loveinge Daughter Elizabeth Geale ten Poundes for her filiall portion & it is my will that if it shall please the Lord to take out of this life any Child or Children before hee or shee or they come to the age of one & twenty years that then his or her or their portion or portions goe to the survivor or survivors to be equally divided amonge them or to him or her

Item it is my will that the above named legacies bequeathed unto my Children shall be payd unto them by my Executrix when they come up & live to the age of one & twenty years

Lastly I make my loveinge wife Mary Geale the Executrix of this my last Will & Testament unto whom I give & bequeath all my Goodes undisposed of desireing her to bringe up my Children & to pay my debts (if any be) & funerall Charges
