William Freck of Harby 1811 Will

In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me William Freck of Harby in the County of Leicester (the Elder) Husbandman

First I give and bequeath to my Daughter Hannah Faulks one shilling

Also I give and bequeath to my sons John Freck and James Freck and my Daughters Mary Freck and Elizabeth Freck the sum of thirty pounds apiece to be paid to each of them within two years next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Freck the sum of thirty pounds

And all the Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Cattle Implements in Husbandry ready Money securities for Money and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (Subject nevertheless to the true payment of all my just debts my Funeral and Testamentary expences and all the Legacies herein given and bequeathed by me) unto my loving Wife Sarah Freck and my son William Freck in equal shares and to be equally divided between them

And I do hereby make and ordain my said loving Wife Sarah Freck and my said son William Freck joint Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament and my son in law Robert Faulks Overseer thereof to see that it is duly executed and ratify and declare this and none other to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said William Freck (the Elder) the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and ten

Signed sealed published and declared by the within named William Freck the Elder the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses to the due Execution thereof

Let a probat be granted to Sarah Freck and William Freck joint Executrix & Executor within named They the said Sarah Freck & William Freck being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the Testator’s Goods Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the Sum of three Hundred Pounds
