We Doe hereby promise to indemnify Mr Richard Stephens Register [sic] of the Peculiar & exempt Jurisdictions of St Margaret in Leicester of and from all manner of Action or Actions that may be brought against him either in Law or Equity on Account of the Sum of Seventeen Pounds Seventeen Shillings & Six Pence rendered into Court & deliver’d over by him to Ann the wife of Thomas Harrison As Witnesse my Hand
