In the name of God Amen I John Fawkes of Hose in the County of Leicester yeoman Beinge weake in Body but of a sound and perfect Mind and Memory praise be therefore Given to Allmighty God doe make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge that is to say

First and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God hopeing through the Merrits death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to Inherit Everlastinge life and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executor here after named and as touching the disposition of all such temporall Estate as it hath pleased Allmighty god to bestow upon mee I give and dispose thereof as followeth

Imprimis: first I will that my debts and funerall Charges shall be paid and discharged

Item I Give unto my Lovinge wife one Messuage or tenement with the Appurtenances belonginge thereunto and allso one halfe oxgainge of land lyinge and beinge within the Liberties of Hose fords dureinge her Naturall Life and after her decease I give it to my kinsman Richard Fawkes of Longe Claxton to him and his heires for ever

Item I give unto Cisly my lovinge wife all my goods dureinge her life exeptinge my sheepe

Item I give unto Cisely Marriot Tenn pounds which her husband William Marriot hath in his hand allready provided hee fech a loade of Coales every yeare dureinge the Terme of my wifes Naturall life

Item I give unto Cisely Marriot one furness pan and a Brass Morter and three puter dishes and one Chist Standinge between the beds in the parler and one tubb after my wifes decease

Itm Give unto Thomas Marriot one yoe

Item I give unto William Mason the younger one ewe Lamb

Item I Give unto Mary Marriot one Lamb to bee Received as abovesaid within a Moneth after my decease

All the Rest and Resedue of my goods Chatell & Catell undisposed on after my wifes decease I doe give and bequeath unto my Loveinge kinsman Richard Fawkes whome I doe make full and Sole Exector of this my last will and Testament and I doe hereby Revoake disanull and make void all former wills and Testaments by mee heretofore made

In wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this sixt day of August in the Thirty sixt yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of god of England Scotland France and Ireland kinge defender of the faith 1684
