Elizabeth Eite of Long Clawson 1812 Will

In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Eite of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Spinster being weak in Body but blessed be God of sound mind and memory Do make publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following That is to say

First I do order and direct that all my Just Debts and Funeral expences be fully paid And I give devise and bequeath unto my loving Brother William Eite all and every such parts shares and proportions of all the Closes Lands Tenements and Hereditaments situate and being in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid or elsewhere as I now am or at the time of any decease shall be possessed of Interested in or intituled to and all my Estate and Interest therein To hold to him my said Brother his Heirs and Assignes for ever Also I give and bequeath to my said Brother all my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever provided nevertheless my mind and Will is, and I do hereby order and direct, that in case my said Brother William Eite and my Sister Sarah Eite shall continue to use and occupy their own part or shares of the said Closes Lands and premisses jointly they shall likewise jointly use and occupy my parts or shares thereof and also all my Personal Estate whatsoever But in case they separate then I will and direct that my said Brother William Eite shall allow and pay or cause to be paid unto my said Sister Sarah Eite One Annuity or Yearly sum of Eight Pounds a Year yearly and every Year during the Term of her natural Life without any manner of deduction or abatement whatsoever And that (at her request) he shall give or cause to be given to her such good and sufficient Security for the well and truly paying the said Annuity or yearly sum of Eight Pounds a Year aforesaid as my loving Cousin William Gilbert of Hoton in the said County of Leicester Husbandman and Robert Goodacre of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid Schoolmaster or the Survivor of them or the Heirs of such Survivor shall approve of and adjudge to be good and sufficient Security for the true payment thereof And my mind and Will further is that in case my said Brother shall happen to die before my said Sister and leave no Issue of his Body lawfully begotten I then give and devise all my said parts shares and proportions of the said Closes Lands Tenements and premisses to my said Sister Sarah Eite her Heirs and Assigns forever

Lastly I revoke all former Wills by me made and declare this and none other to be my last Will and Testament whereof I make and ordain my said Brother William Eite whole and sole Executor

In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Eite have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Ninth Day of December In the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and eighty five

Let probat be granted to William Eite of Long Claxton, Farmer, sole Executor of this Will & likewise made Oath that the whole of the Personal Estate of the Testator at the time of her death (Jany 17 1812) did not amount to the Sum of Three Hundred pounds
