John Draper of Holwell 1709 Will

In the name of God Amen I John Draper of Hollwell in the County of Leiscester being weake of body but of parfect mind and memory praised be Allmighty god for it I doe make and ordaine this my present last will and testement in maner and and forme following

First I bequeath my Soule unto Allmighty God who gave it me and my body to be desently buried at the Discretion of my Exuetrix hereafter mentioned

First I will that all my debts and funarall Charges be paide and discharged

Item I give unto my Son John Draper the Sum of twenty pounds to be paide him when he shall acompliss the age of one and twenty yeares

Item I give unto my Son Robert Draper the Sum of twenty pounds to be paide him when he shall Acompliss the age of one and twenty years

Item I give unto my Son James Draper the Sum of twenty pounds to be paide him when he shall Acompliss the age of one and twenty years

Item I give unto my Daughter Eliszebeath Draper the Sum of twenty pounds to be paide her when shee shall acompliss the age of one and twenty yeares

And further my will is that if it please god any of my Children die before theire portions become due that their portions shall be equaly divided Amounst the rest

Item All the rest and resedue of my goods and Chattels I give unto my trusty and wellbeloved wife Dorothy Draper whome I Constitute and apoint my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament revokeing all other wills heretofore and my will is that my wife shall have the use of my Childrens portions till the become due towards the bringing them up if shee keeps her selfe in my name and that my Children shall have theire Education and theire bringing up at the Charge of my Executrix without any Stopith or deducxtion froum theire portions
