Thomas Dixon of Scalford 1850 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Dixon of Scalford in the County of Leicester Grazier

I Give devise and bequeath all and every my Messuages Closes Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate situate standing lying and being in Scalford aforesaid and in Holwell and Wymondham both in the County of Leicester or elsewhere and all other the real Property I shall at any time hereafter purchase or die possessed of And also all the personal Estate and Effects of every kind of which I may die possessed unto my Wife Sarah Dixon her heirs and assigns for ever Subject nevertheless to the payment of my Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences

And I appoint my said Wife Sarah Dixon sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Dixon the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this twenty second day of May One thousand eight hundred and forty

Sarah Dixon of Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester Widow the sole Executrix in this Will named was duly sworn to the Truth and faithful performance thereof as usual and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the Sum of Two Thousand Pounds and that the deceased died on the Seventeenth day of October last past
