This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Derbyshire of The Anchor Inn Plungar in the County of Leicester Licensed Victualler

I appoint my dear Wife Martha Derbyshire and my friend William Barratt of Plungar aforesaid Carrier Executors and Trustees hereof

I give to each of my two daughters Mary Ellen and Louisa the Legacy of Fifty pounds in case of the death of either of them in my lifetime leaving children living at my death then the like legacy of Fifty pounds shall be equally divided between such children or applied by my Trustees in and towards their maintenance and education and subject to and charged with the payment of such legacies and of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I give and devise all my real estate and the residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Wife Martha Derbyshire in fee simple and absolutely for her own use and benefit

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this tenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven
