This is the last Will and Testament of me William Daft of Harby in the County of Leicester Labourer

I direct my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be fully paid and satisfied by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I give and bequeath unto my Sisters Mary Carlisle of Barnston in the County of Nottingham Widow and Elizabeth the Wife of Thomas Wiley of Hickling in the said County of Nottingham the Legacies of Five pounds each to be paid to them by my said Executor at the expiration of six calendar Months next after my decease but in case one or both of them shall die before that time I direct that such Legacy or Legacies shall lapse into the residue of my personal Estate

I give and bequeath the residue of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Brother Stephen Daft and I appoint him Executor of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eighteenth day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty two

On the fifth day of March 1863 the Will of William Daft late of Harby in the County of Leicester Labourer was proved by the Oath of Stephen Daft Brother of the deceased the sole Executor named in the said Will he having been first sworn duly to administer

Sworn under £200 and that the Testator died on the fifth day of October 1862.
