This is the last Will and Testament of me William Daft of Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester Framework knitter as follows

I direct all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expences to be fully paid

I Give and bequeath unto my Relations George Healey the younger of Thorpe Arnold Leicestershire and Elizabeth Hatten the Wife of Edward Hatten of Melton Mowbray aforesaid Tailor the sum of Ten pounds apeice to be paid to them within Twelve months next after my decease

I Give Devise and bequeath All my Real and Personal Estate and Effects of any description of which I shall die possessed Unto my affectionate Wife Elizabeth Rebecca Daft her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever absolutely And I do appoint my said wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereto Set my hand and Seal this Twenty Third day of August 1841

Signed William Daft by me William Clark of Melton Mowbray Auctioneer by his direction at his request and acknowledged by him the said William Daft in the presence of the subscribing witnesses

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator William Daft as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his Request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due Execution thereof
