1805 Daft Thomas of Thurmaston

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Daft of Thurmaston in the Parish of Belgrave in the County of Leicester Tailor

First (I Desire that all my Just Debts and funeral Expences be first thereout paid and Discharged) I Give and Devise All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Yard Garden Outbuildings and Appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate standing lying and being in Thurmaston aforesaid and now in my own Possession (Expectant on the Decease of my Dear and Loving wife Sarah Daft) unto my Six Children William Daft Sarah Daft Elizabeth Daft Thomas Daft John Daft and Ann Daft their respective Heirs and Assigns To hold the same unto and to the use of my said Six Children William Daft Sarah Daft Elizabeth Daft Thomas Daft John Daft and Ann Daft and their respective Heirs and Assigns for ever and they to take and enjoy the same as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants

And also I Give and Bequeath All my Household and other Goods Chattles Implements in Trade Rights Credits ready Money and Securities for Money and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Wife Sarah Daft to be freely Enjoyed by her for the Term of her Natural Life and from and immediately after her Decease Then I Give and Bequeath such my said personal Estate and premises unto my said Six Children William Daft Sarah Daft Elizabeth Daft Thomas Daft John Daft and Ann Daft to be equally Divided between them Share and share alike

And Lastly I do hereby Nominate Constitute and appoint my said Wife Sarah Daft Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Daft the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this fifth day of December in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Ninety two
