In the Name of God Amen the twenty first day of April in the year of our Lord 1735 I Thomas Daft of the parish of Saint Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex Coachman being very sick and weak in Body but of perfect mind and memory (thanks be give unto God therefore) calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that is appointed for all men once to dye do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say

Principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recommend into the Earth to be buried in Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executress nothing doubting but at the Generall Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Sister Tabathy …ings the summe of twenty pounds of good and lawfull money to be raised and levied out of my Estate which is in Leicestershire

Item I give to Elizabeth Waggett whom I likewise constitute make and Ordain my only and Sole Executriss of this my last Will and Testament all and singular my Lands Messuages and Tenements by her freely to be possessed and Enjoyed the Writings of the Estate are at Mrs Blanketts at Kettleby in the County aforesaid or at Francis Godfreys at Hoars [Hose?*] in the said County confirming this my last Will and Testament

This Will was proved at London the thirtyeth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty five before the Worshipfull Thomas Walker Doctor of Laws and Surrogate to the Right Worshipfull John Bettesworth also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Elizabeth Wachett otherwise Waggett Spinster the Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration of all and Singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the deceased of all and Singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the deceased was granted being first sworn duly to Administer
