Will of Saml: Daft of Mountsorrel Collarmaker deced 1791

In The Name of God Amen I Samuel Daft of Mountsorrel in the County of Leicester Collar Maker and Tawer upon the Serious thoughts of Death do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to say)

Whereas I stand jointly and Severally Bound with my Son Thomas Daft to Benjamin Norfolk of Mountsorrel aforesaid Woollcomber for the payment of one Hundred pounds which is the proper Debt of my said Son Thomas Daft I hereby Order and direct that My Executor herein after Named to pay off the said Bond upon Condition my said Son Thomas Daft shall pay unto my Son Samuel Daft the Sum of Fifty pounds in twelve Months after my decease

Also I Give and Devise unto my Son John Daft and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever all and Singular My Freehold House that I now Live in With all Rights Members and Appurtenances Whatsoever standing lying and being in Mountsorrel aforesaid and in the parish of Rothley in the said County of Leicester together with all my real Estate Whatsoever To hold to my said Son John Daft from and immediately after my decease and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever Nevertheless chargeable with the payment of the aforesaid Bonds upon Condition of my said Son Thomas Daft paying to my said Son Samuel the said sum of fifty pounds as aforesaid

Also I Give and Bequeath unto my said Son John Daft all and Singular My Goods Stock in Trade Money Book Debts and personal Estate whatsoever He Maintaining my Dear beloved Wife Sarah Daft for the term of her Natural  Life and I do hereby Nominate and Appoint my said son John Daft the whole and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby Making Void all other former Will or Wills and Do declare this only for my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Samuel Daft the Testator have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Seventh Day of January in the year of Our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety One
