George Daft of Draycott 1815 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me George Daft of Draycot in the Parish of Wilne in the County of Derby Carrier and Dyer Whereby I do direct that all the just Debts which shall be due and owing by me at the time of my decease also my Funeral Expences and the Costs of proving this my Will shall be first paid by my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

And I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the wife of George Ward the sum of Five Pounds to be paid to her her executors administrators or assigns within twelve months next after my decease

And having already given to my son William Daft and my Daughter Mary Astle so much of my estate and effects as I conceive to be ample and proper I give and bequeath All the rest residue and remainder of my Household Goods Furniture Horses Cows Carts Gearing Dying Vessels Dying Goods Stock and good will of my Trade and all other my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my daughter Sarah the wife of William Stevenson her executors administrators and assigns absolutely

Subject however to the maintenance and support of Dorothy Wright who now resides in the same house with me during her life

And Lastly I do nominate and appoint my said daughter Sarah and her said husband the said William Stevenson Executrix and Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Will and Wills by me made and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Testator George Daft have to this my last Will and Testament set and put my hand and seal the Fifteenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifteen
