This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Corner of Hose in the County of Leicester Grazier

I give devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate and effects of which I shall died seised possessed or entitled unto William Shipman of Hose aforesaid Farmer and Joseph Stubbs of Long Clawson in the said County of Leicester Farmer their heirs executors administrators and assigns Upon trust that they the said William Shipman and Joseph Stubbs or the survivor of them or the heirs executors administrators or assigns of such survivor (hereinafter called the Trustees or Trustee) do and shall as soon as conveniently may be sell my said real Estate either together or in parcels and either by Public Auction or Private Contract with full power to buy in and rescind any contract for sale and to resell without being responsible for any loss occasioned thereby and to do all such acts and assurances for effectuating any such sale or sales as they or he shall think fit

And also upon trust that they my said Trustees or Trustee shall as soon as conveniently may be sell call in and convert into money such part of my said personal Estate as shall not consist of money And I direct my said Trustees or Trustee by and out of the moneys to arise from the sale of my said real Estate and from the sale calling in and conversion into money of such part of my said Personal Estate as shall not consist of money and the money of which I shall possessed at my death to pay my Funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the following Legacy namely

I give to my son John Corner the sum of One hundred pounds absolutely

And shall stand possessed of the surplus and residue of the said trust monies and premises In trust for all and every of my children and child who being Sons or a Son attain the age of twenty one years or being Daughters or a Daughter attain that age or marry under that age and if more than one in equal shares Provided always and I declare that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving issue in existence at my death the issue in existence at my death and who being male attain the age of twenty one years or being female attain that age or marry under that age of each child of mine so dying shall take by substitution as tenants in common in equal shares per stirpes if more than one (and so that no issue remoter than a child of such deceased shall take, except in case of the death in my lifetime of his her or their own parent and in the place of such parent) the share in my residuary estate which such child of mine would have taken under the trusts in that behalf hereinbefore declared had he or she survived me

I devise all estates vested in me as Mortgagee or Trustee unto and to the use of the said William Shipman and Joseph Stubbs their heirs executors administrators and assigns respectively subject to the equities and trusts affecting the same respectively and so far as I am beneficially interested as Mortgagee to be disposed of as part of my personal Estate for the purposes of my Will

I direct that my said Trustees or Trustee may deduct and mutually allow to each other all disbursements and expenses incident to the execution of my Will and shall be responsible each for his own acts and defaults only and irresponsible for losses occurring without wilful neglect or default and shall be indemnified with or out of any trust property against all liabilities consequent on the execution of my Will

I appoint the said William Shipman and Joseph Stubbs Executors of my Will

In Witness whereof I the said Robert Corner the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this twenty seventh day of March One thousand eight hundred and seventy seven

Signed and acknowledged by the said Robert Corner the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the word “seven” being substituted for “six” on the second line of this page previous to its execution by the said Robert Corner

Proved at Leicester on the thirtieth day of March 1889 by the Oaths of William Shipman and Joseph Stubbs the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testator Robert Corner was late of Hose in the County of Leicester Grazier and died on the nineteenth day of February 1889 at Hose aforesaid
