Robert Collishaw of Hickling 1723 Will, Inventory and Bond

In the Name of God Amen I Robert Collishaw of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Chandler being weake in body but of perfect mind and memorie praise be to God for the same doe make and ordain this my last will and testament, hereby renouncing all other wills and testaments by me at any time published or declared
Imprimis I give and bequeath my soul to Almighty God my maker trusting and confidently expecting to be saved by the above merits and bitter passion of Jesus Christ my redeemer and as touching the dispossall of all my worldly goods which God of his great goodness hath bestowed on me I give and bequeath them as followeth
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Collishaw the sum of ten pounds of British money when she shall attain the age of one and twenty years to be paid to her after my decease by my executors hereafter named, in full of her childes parte or portion
Item I give unto my son William Collishaw the sum of ten pounds of British money when he shall attain the age of one and twenty years to be paid to him after my decease by my executors; and like wise I give him one ewe and lamb to go on for his portion in full of his childs part
Item I give unto my son Edward Collishaw the sum of ten pounds of British money when he shall attain the age of one and twenty years to be paid to him after my decease by my executors and for his working during his prentiship the executors is to take care of him and not to stopp anything of his portion but to keep him sufficiently in all apparrell
Item I give unto my son Philip Collishaw my youngest son ten pounds of British money to be paid to him when he shall attain the age of one and twenty years to be paid to him by my executors after my decease
Item my will is that if any my children die before they come to age or not marryed then their portion is to be equally divided amongst the survivors
Item I give unto my dear wife Elizabeth Collishaw and my son Robert Collishaw all my goods cattells and chattells Bills Bonds whatsoever belonging to me both dead and alive and also I give unto my son Robert Collishaw this house which I now dwell in with all outhouses, orchards and all other premises and appurtenances whatsoever there unto belonging to it to him and his heirs forever, his mother having her life in it and not disturbed; which I make them full executors that Elizabeth Collishaw my wife and Robert Collishaw my son they discharging all my debts, legacies, and funerall Charges and all other charges whatsoever
In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the second day of August Anno ye Domini 1716.
Memorandum I give unto my daughter Mary Willet ten shillings to be paid with twelve months after my decease by my executors and I give unto her two children Mary Willet and Samuel Willet five shillings a piece to be paid to them within twelve months after my decease all those legacies was subscribed before the sealing and delivering of this my will
Item my will is that if should die at this time my executors shall have twelve months after my decease before they pay the forenamed portions that is Elizabeth Collishaw William Collishaw Edward Collishaw and Phillip Collishaw.
