George Cobley of Chadwell 1801 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me George Cobley of Wykeham and Chadwell in the County of Leicester

In the first place I will that all my just debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged

I give and bequeath to my Father William Cobley the sum of two shillings and sixpence

I give and bequeath unto my Brothers Thomas, Joseph, and John Cobley, the sum of two shillings and sixpence each

I give and bequeath unto my Sisters Sarah Norris, and Ann Steans, the sum of two shillings and sixpence each

I give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary Lord the sum of ten Pounds to be paid her within one month after my wifes decease

All the rest, residue, and remainder of my Goods, Chattels, and personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Ann Cobley whom I also Constitute and appoint full and sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me at any time made and this only to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I the said George Cobley the testator have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four

Bond, bound Thomas Cobley husbandman of Eastwell one of the brothers and next of kin of George Cobley grazier late of Chadwell, John Cobley carpenter of Stonesby and Thomas Norris cordwainer of Muston £260 7 November 1801, condition whereas will of George Cobley made his wife executrix but she died about fourteen or fifteen years ago, George Cobley dying May 1800 a widower without children, bound Thomas Cobley to produce inventory and administer estate
