This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Chettle of Harby in the County of Leicester made and signed the fourteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine

I give and devise all my real Estate which I may die seized or possessed of in my own right and not as a Trustee unto my wife Sarah for her life And after her decease to my Sisters Rebecca Chettle and Ann Wise my Nephews Thomas Chettle John Chettle my niece Ann Chettle now or late of Aslockton their heirs and assigns for ever share and share alike

I give and devise all personal Estate of which I may die possessed except money standing in my name solely or jointly with any other person in the Funds or upon Government Securities I not being beneficially interested in such Money in the Funds or on Government Securities but being a Trustee thereof unto my Wife Sarah Chettle for her absolute use and benefit subject to the payment of my debts of every sort and kind and of my funeral and testamentary expences and I direct my Executors hereinafter named to allow my said Wife to take possession of my said personal Estate without any interference from or by them it being my desire that their Functions or Office as Executors should be limited as far as may be to the disposal of my said Money in the Funds or on Government Securities in accordance with the Trusts to which the same are subject

I devise all Messuages Land and real Estate vested in me as a Trustee or Mortgagee to John Carrington of Cropwell Butler in the County of Nottingham Farmer William Innocent of Whatton in the County of Nottingham Farmer and William Levers of Sutton in the County of Nottingham Farmer their heirs and assigns subject to the Trusts and equities affecting the same

And I bequeath to them the said John Carrington William Innocent and William Levers all money in the Funds or on Government Securities in my name and all money and personal Estate whatsoever of which I am a Trustee to the intent that they the said John Carrington William Innocent and William Levers may perform and fulfil the Trusts to which the same are subject And I appoint the said John Carrington William Innocent and William Levers joint Executors in Trust of this my Will

And I revoke all former Wills by me made

Sworn under £20 and that the Testator died on or about the 18th day of April 1859

Proved 3th December 1859 by the Oath of Sarah Chettle Widow the Relict of the deceased the sole Executrix according to the Tenor of the Will as to the rest of the personal estate and effects of the deceased

Sworn under £100 and that the Testator died on or about the 18th day of April 1859
