This is the last Will and Testament of me Martha Chettle of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Spinster
First I direct that all such Debts as I shall Justly owe at the time of my Decease my Funeral and Testamentary Expences be paid by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named
I Give and bequeath unto my Brother Samuel Chettle and my Sister Dorothy Chettle their Heirs and Assigns equally share and share alike The House and premises belonging thereto situate at Ab Kettleby aforesaid and now in my own Occupation to have and to hold the same as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants
I also Give and devise unto my said Brother Samuel Chettle and my Sister Dorothy Chettle their Heirs and Assigns share and share alike All my Household Goods plate Linen and Furniture stock in Trade and all other Effects that shall be about my premises at the time of my Decease with my ready Money Securities for money and all [“and” missing] every of my Real and personal Estate of whatsoever nature it may consist
And lastly I do hereby Nominate and appoint my said Brother Samuel Chettle and my Sister Dorothy Chettle joint Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other and former Wills by me at any time heretofore made
In witness hereof I the said Martha Chettle the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this eighteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty three

Let a Probat be made to Samuel Chettle of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Labourer and Dorothy Chettle of the same place Spinster the joint Executors named in the Will of the deceased who died on the 19th January last
They having been duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will as that the testator’s Goods Chattels and Credits without deducting any debts owing by the deceased therefrom did not amount in Value to the Sum of one hundred Pounds
