In the Name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Chamberlain of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Widow

First whereas my late Husband William Chamberlain of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid Clerk Did in and by his last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date on or about the thirty first day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred direct his trustees therein appointed Mr William Marriott and Mr Berry Rushland or the Survivor of them his Executors or Administrators immediately after my decease to pay the Residue and remaining part of four hundred pounds mentioned by my said Husband in his said Will and therein by him mentioned to be disposed of conditionally in case I shall not be married again to such person or persons and for such use and uses interests and purposes as I by my last Will and Testament shall direct

Now I the said Hannah Chamberlain Do by this my last Will and Testament duly executed give and bequeath all the Residue and remaining part of the said four hundred pounds not expressly otherwise disposed of by my late Husbands Will And also all other monies which I have a just Right by virtue of my said Husbands Will to dispose of Unto my Brother William Moore of Quorndon my Executor herein after named to be by him applied towards the payment of all my just debts and all the Legacies herein given and bequeathed by me And I doe direct that the said William Marriot and the said Berry Rushland and the Survivor of them and his Executors and Administrators shall pay the same to my said Brother William Moore or his Executors or Administrators accordingly

I Give and devise that my Messuage or Tenement together with the Bakehouse and appurtenances thereto belonging now in the Tenure or Occupation of Thomas Musson and being in the Town and Liberty of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid unto Betty Musson daughter of my Brother John Moore of Quorndon and her Heirs and Assigns for ever

I also Give and devise all that my Messuage or Tenement lands and real estate together with all appurtenances thereto belonging situate and being in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid and now in my own occupation unto my Brother William Moore of Quorndon aforesaid and his Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I give and bequeath to my Brothers Edward Moore and John Moore and my Nephew Edward the Son of my Brother Edward Moore the sum of Forty pounds apiece

Also I give and bequeath to John Moore and William Moore Sons of John the son of my Brother John Moore of Quorndon the sum of One hundred pounds each to be paid to them when they shall severally attain to the age of Twenty one years and until that time the lawful Interest of the same from the time of my Decease to be paid towards their bringing up and support yearly

All my wearing apparel of what nature or kind soever I Give and bequeath to my neices Hanah Moore and Sarah Moore the daughters of my Brother Edward Moore and my Neice Elizabeth Musson daughter of my said Neice Betty Musson to be equally divied [sic] amongst them after my Decease

And all the Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Cattle Plate Linnen and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever Subject nevertheless to the payments of all my just debts my Funeral and Testamentary Expenses and to the Legacies herein given and bequeathed by me I give and bequeath to my said Brother William Moore whom I do hereby make and ordain whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Hannah Chamberlain the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this nineteenth day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight Hundred and fourteen

This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Chamberlain of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Widow bearing date the nineteenth day of February last past which I desire may be taken and considered as a part of my said Will

Whereas  there being the sum of one hundred pounds secured upon my real estate at Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid and made payable by the Will of the late William Barnes of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson at the Death of his Widow Fortune Barnes unto Samuel Barnes his Son or others of his kindred Now my Will is that the said sum of one hundred pounds so secured shall be paid by my Brother William Moore of Quorndon or made chargeable upon that part of my Estate and upon that part only which I do now occupy and which I also devised by my said Will unto my Brother William Moore aforesaid making that part which I devised unto Betty Musson daughter of my Brother John Moore of Quorndon clear from any part of the payment thereof And I do hereby ratify and confirm my said Will in every respect not altered by this my Codicil thereto which my desire is shall be annexed thereto and taken as a part thereof

In Witness whereof I have to this my Codicil to my said Will set my Hand and Seal this fifth day of March One thousand eight hundred and fourteen

Let a probat be granted to William Moore of Quorndon in the County of Leicester Labourer sole Executor named in the Will of Hannah Chamberlain who died at Claxton otherwise Long Clawson on the 4th day of May 1825

He the said William Moore being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the Will as that the Testators Goods Chattels & Credits, as they were at her death, without deducting any debts owing by her therefrom, did not amount in value to the sum of six hundred pounds
