25 Years of Hickling Scarecrows – a book
It’s Arrived!
(22nd Nov 2025) It’s a cold, wet November out there but here’s some September memories to brighten up your day! Our celebratory Scarecrows book has arrived from the printers and copies are ready for you!
25 years of Hickling Scarecrows is a 48-page, full-colour book packed with photos, information and anecdotes – all for £8.
Please contact us to reserve your copy & for details of how to pay plus delivery/collection.
Profits will be divided equally between the Hickling Scarecrows Committee & the Local History Group.
2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the first Hickling Scarecrow Festival. To celebrate we are publishing a full-colour book to include:
- A history of the Festival
- Photographs from each year
- Chronology of funds raised and charities supported
- & much more!
We will confirm the precise format and contents after this year’s 25th Scarecrow Festival but we are taking pre-orders for a likely publication in October 2025:
Orders placed & paid for pre-publication – £7.50 a copy
Orders paid for after publication – £8 a copy
Profits will support Scarecrow Festival charities and the Hickling Local History Group.
Orders can be placed:
- In person at the Scarecrow Festival 2025 or Local History Group events or Village Hall Breakfasts (cash only – please provide your name & contact details and we will contact you when published)
