In the Name of God Amen I John Caunt of Eaton in the County of Leicester Servant being Sick and weak of Body but of perfect Mind and Memory praised be Almighty God do make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following

First of all I give and Bequeath my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God Hoping through the meritorious Death and Passion of my Blessed Lord and Saviour to be Joyfully Recd at my Resurection and my Body to be decently Buryed in the Parish Church or Church Yard of Eaton aforesaid at the Charges and Expences of my Executrix hereafter mentioned and for my Wordly Goods I give and Dispose of in the Manner following

First of all I give and Bequeathe to my two Brothers William and Edward and my two Sisters Alice and Elizabeth five Shillings Each

Also I give to my Brother John Needham Half a Score of the little Ews Such as Christopher Wither Shall chuse for him

Also the Cloathes I had from the Mill I desire they Shall go thither again and the Rest of my Cloathes I give to my Cousin Francis Caunt

My Debts my Legacies my Funeral Expences being first paid and discharged and then the Rest of my Goods Cattles Chattles unbequeathed I give and Bequeathe to my Dame Dorothy Mason making and ordaining her full Sole and joynt Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking all former Wills by me made and Bequeathed
