Nevill Burton of Scalford 1697 Will

In the name of God Amen I Navill Burton of Scalford in the County of Leicester laburore being weake in body but of good & perfect memory praised be Allmighty god I doe make constitute ordaine this my Last will and testament in maner & forme following

First I bequeeth my soule into the hands of Allmighty god my onely Creator Saviour & redeemer & my body to be buried in Cristian buriall at the discretion of my executors hereafter named

& as for my goods which god hath bestowed on me I dispose of them as followeth

First of all my will is I doe give unto my daughter Ellinor Ryall all my houseall goods & Chattell moveable & unmoveable she paying my dets and I make her my sole & full executor

My will is I give unto my son Sollowman Burton five shillings to be paid by my executor soone after my decease if he demand it

Revokeing all other wills heretofore by me made & this to be my last will and testament

In witnese whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the fifteen day of February in the eight yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraign Lord King William of England Scotland and France & Ireland Annoq Dom 1696
