In the Name of God Amen I Henry Bugg of Stathern in the County of Leicester being in perfect Health and Sound both in Boddy Mind and Memory Praised be therefore to Almighty god Do Make and Ordain this my last Will and testament in Manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I Commend My Soul into the hands of Almighty god hoping through the Merits death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to Obtain full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to Inherit Everlasting life and my Boddy I Commit to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the Decretion of my Executor and Executrix hereafter Named
Touching all Such temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty god to bestow upon me I do give and Bequeave hereof as followeth
I do Nominate and Apoint my Nephew George Bugg the Son of my Brother George Bugg and my Sister Elizabeth Tinsley to be my Executor and Executrix
First I will that my Debts and funeral Charges be paid and Discharged
Item I do give to my Brother George Bugg one Shilling and to my Nephew John Bugg the Son of my Brother George Bugg one Shilling
Item I do give to my Nephew Charles Bugg the Son of my Sister Elizabeth Tinsley the Sum of twenty pounds and to Henry Tinsley the Son of my Sister Elizabeth Tinsley five pounds and to Elizabeth Tinsley Daughter of my Sister Elizabeth Tinsley five pounds
Item I do give to Ann Elliott Daughter of my Sister Sarah Elliott Deceased the Sum of ten pounds and to Elizabeth Elliott Daughter of my Sister Sarah Elliott one Guniea
Item I do give to my Cousin Robert Kilby five pounds
Item I do give to my Cousin Mary Henton Wife of George Henton of Frisby two Gunieas
Item I do give to John Caunt of Eaton my Son in law one Guinea all to be paid in good and lawfull money of Great Brittain within one year after my Desease
All the rest and Residue of my personal Estate I do give to my Executor and Executrix above Named
I do Hereby Revoke Disanull and Make void all former Wills and testaments present by me hereto fore made
In Wittness Hereof I the Said Henry Bugg have Set my hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of August in the year of our Lord God one thousand and Seven Hundred and fifty three
