This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Jane Brown of the Parish of Abb Kettleby in the County of Leicester

I give and devise and bequeath the Interest of £300 now in the Leicestershire Bank, and the Interest of my share in the Scalford property when it falls in to my Husband James Brown to be used by him during his natural life, and after the decease of my said Husband James Brown I give devise and bequeath the above mentioned £300 and the proceeds of my share in the Scalford property to my daughter Rose Ann Brown absolutely for her own sole and separate use

And I appoint my Brother Richard Hickling Freckingham the sole Executor of this my Will and Trustee for my said daughter Rose Ann Brown

And lastly I the said Mary Jane Brown do declare this to be my last Will and Testament whereof I have hereunto set and subscribed my name this Twelfth day of March One thousand eight hundred and Eighty eight

Proved at Leicester on the twenty third day of January 1889 by the Oath of Richard Hickling Freckingham the Brother, the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted

The Testatrix Mary Jane Brown (Wife of James Brown) was late of Abb Kettleby in the County of Leicester and died on the fifteenth day of September 1888 at Abb Kettleby aforesaid
