This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Brown of Scalford in the County of Leicester Widow
I direct all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expences to be fully paid
I Give and bequeath All my Personal Estate and Effects of every description of which I shall die possessed unto my only Son John King of Melton Mowbray Tailor his Executors and administrators and do appoint him Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this 18th day of December 1837

John King of Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester Tailor the sole executor in this will named was duly sworn to the truth & faithful performance thereof as usual & that the goods chattels & credits of the decease without deducting any detts owing by her therefrom do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds £100 & that the deceased died on the ninth day of April 1844
