This is the Last Will and Testament of me Deborah Branston of Harby in the County of Leicester Spinster

I Appoint my niece Edith Mary Brown of Brook Cottage Ruddington Executrix and Trustee of this my Will

I Give my Bureau my father’s Chair and my silver spoons to my brother Thomas Richard Branston and my sister Emma Jane Brown to be divided between them equally as they shall agree or failing agreement as my said Executrix shall decide

And subject thereto I Give all my furniture linen bedding wearing apparel and personal effects to my friend Amy Jane Thraves absolutely such gifts to be free of legacy duty

And subject as aforesaid my Trustees shall hold my estate Upon trust as to three quarter parts thereof for my said brother Thomas Richard Branston and as to one-fourth thereof for my said sister Emma Jane Brown or if either of them shall predecease me then his or her share shall go to their child or children surviving them in equal shares

In Witness whereof I the said Deborah Branston the Testatrix have set my hand this 19th day of October One thousand nine hundred and twenty two
