William Blankley of Plungar 1813 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Blankley of Plungar in the County of Leicester Gentleman made in manner following (that is to say)

First I give and bequeath unto my Grandchildren William Caunt and Mary Blankley Caunt the Legacy or Sum of Fifty pounds a piece to be paid and payable to them when and as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one Years without any Interest for the same And in Case either of them the said William Caunt and Mary Blankley Caunt shall die before having attained their said respective Age of twenty one Years and without leaving Issue of his or her Body lawfully begotten Then I do hereby give and bequeath the Legacy of him or her so dying without Issue unto Such of them the said William Caunt and Mary Blankley Caunt as shall live to Attain the said Age of twenty one Years But in Case either of them the said William Caunt and Mary Blankley Caunt shall die under age leaving Issue of his or her Body lawfully begotten Then I do hereby give and bequeath the Legacy of him or her so dying unto such his or her Issue share and share alike (if more than one) to be paid and payable when and as soon as they shall severally and respectively attain the Age of twenty one years

And subject to the payment of my just Debts Funeral Expences and the aforesaid Legacies I give and bequeath all and singular my Money securities for Money Goods Cattle Chattels Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Daughter Ann the wife of Robert Burrows of Plungar aforesaid Farmer and Thomas Lieusley of Leadenham in the County of Lincoln Farmer equally share and share alike

And lastly I do hereby make nominate and Appoint them the said Ann Burrows and Thomas Lieusley Joint Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said William Blankley have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and seal the thirty first Day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine

Let a probat be granted to Ann Burrows of Plungar in the County of Leicester the Executrix within named – with power of making the like grant to Thomas Lieusley of Leadenham in the County of Lincoln Farmer the other Executor within named – She the said Ann Burrows being sworn as well to the faithful execution of the Will as that the Testators Goods Chattels & Credits do not amount to the sum of two hundred Pounds
