Thomas Blankley of Eaton 1799 Will

This is the last will and Testament of me Thomas Blankley of Eaton in the County of Leicester yeoman

In the first place I will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged

I give and devise to my Brother George Blankley all my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and premises situate and being in Stathern in the County of Leicester aforesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever subject nevertheless to the payment of one Hundred and Fifty Pounds to my Nephew John Williamson with the payment of which I hereby charge all the aforesaid Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and premises

I give and bequeath to all my Nephew and Neices the sum of five Pounds apiece

I also give and bequeath to my said Nephew John Williamson the Bed Bedstead Hangings Pillows Bolster Blankets and Coverlet in the Chamber in which he usually slept

All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my said Brother George Blankley my Sister Elizabeth Rogers and my sister Mary Williamson share and share alike

And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and appoint my said Brother George Blankley full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made and this only to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty ninth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight
