In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Blankley of Stathern in the County of Leicester Yeoman being of sound and perfect Mind & Understanding do this first Day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and eighty two do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following

In the first place I give And bequeath unto my Widow Dorothy Blankley the Sum of twelve Pounds of good and lawful Money of great Britain to be paid her yearly by my Executor herein after named But so long as my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall think proper to remain and live in the same House with my Executor my Will & pleasure is that my said Executor shall provide her with sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing and Apparel of all sorts, lodging and other necessaries suitable and convenient for her And so long as my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall continue to live with my Executor he my said Executor shall be free from paying the Sum of twelve Pounds yearly to the said Dorothy Blankley But in case my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall chuse to leave my Executor and to live alone I will and ordain that my said Widow shall have the little House adjoining to the great one for her Residence during her natural Life & my Will & Pleasure is that my Executor herein after named or his Heirs shall furnish the said little House with the Goods & furniture following

A Feather Bed, Bedstead hangings and all other furniture required and belonging to it A Chest of Drawers in the Parlour another Cloathes Chest a small Pan a Couple of Pewter Plates a Pewter Dish a Tea Kettle Tea Pot half a Dozen China Cups and Dishes half a dozen of silver Tea spoons Silver Tea Tongs half a Dozen of Chairs in the Chamber a Barrel a couple of Candlesticks and every other little necessary that is required to furnish such a House As also thirty Hundred of Coals yearly to be laid down at her own Door

My Will and Pleasure is that my Executor or his Heirs shall pay the Sum of twelve Pounds of good & lawful Money of great Britain yearly to my said Widow Dorothy Blankley The first payment due one whole year after leaving my Executor herein after named or if my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall chuse it, I will that the yearly Sum of twelve Pounds be divided to her Quarterly, the first payment to be due one whole Quarter after leaving my said Executor herein after named

And my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall have power to dispose of the furniture & every thing belonging to her (except the yearly sum of twelve Pounds paid her by my Executor or his Heirs) at her Decease

But in case my said Widow Dorothy Blankley shall marry again my Executor or his Heirs shall upon such Marriage be free from paying the Said Annuity of twelve Pounds

I likewise give and bequeath unto my Three Daughters Mary, Elizabeth, & Margaret Blankley the Sum of Eighty Pounds of good & lawful Money of great Britain, to be paid to them and each of them by my Executor hereinafter named or his Heirs When & as soon as they shall attain their several & respective Age & Ages of twenty one years

It is likewise my Will & Pleasure that these my Three Daughters Mary, Elizabeth, And Margaret Blankley shall live & reside with my said Executor or his Heirs and that my said Executor or his Heirs shall provide them with Sufficient Meat, drink, washing, and apparel of all sorts, Lodgings & other necessaries convenient for them, till they and each of them attain their respective Ages of twenty one years

I likewise Will & ordain that My Executor or his Heirs shall furnish My two Daughters Mary & Elizabeth when they shall attain their Respective Age of twenty one years with each a good feather bed, Bedstead, hangings, Cloths, & proper furniture and that Elizabeth shall have the Bedstead in the Corn Chamber instead of any other & that my Executor or his Heirs shall give to my two Daughters Mary & Elizabeth when they attain their respective Age of twenty one years to each & both of them a pair of good Chest of Drawers made of oak wood after the manner form & size of those in the Parlour

And my Mind & will is that in case any of my said Daughters Mary Elizabeth & Margaret Blankley shall die before she attains the Age of twenty one years or if after they have Attained the Age of twenty one years if they or each of them die before they lawfully enter into a Married state the said Legacy of eighty Pounds of them or each of them in both these Cases I order and direct shall be divided share & share alike between my Son and his Heirs & the surviving Daughter or Daughters & their Heirs

I also give & bequeath unto my Daughter Bridget Wife of William Hilton the Sum of five shillings of good & lawful money of great Britain to be paid by my Executor

I also give and devise all and every my Messuages Cottages Lands & Hereditaments whatsoever & wheresoever within the Kingdom of great Britain as also all & singular my household Goods and other Goods, stock, Cattle, Chatells, implements of Husbandry, and personal Estate of what kind, nature or quality soever (only paying the above Annuity to my Widow and other Legacys as also my Debts and funeral Expences) Unto my Son Thomas Blankley (whom I appoint my sole Executor) his Heirs and Assignes for ever

& lastly I do nominate & appoint Anthony Rogers of Eaton in the County of Leicester and John Mann of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Trustees of my three Daughters Mary, Elizabeth and Margaret  Blankley till every one & each of them Attain the Age of twenty one years to see & take Care that my Executor before named, or his Heirs, duly fulfil this my last Will, till they attain the Age of twenty one years

Hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made

In witness whereof the said Thomas Blankley the Testator have hereunto set my hand & seal this first Day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred & eighty two
