Richard Blankley of Plungar 1770 Will

In the name of God Amen I Richard Blankley of Plungar in the County of Leicester Yeoman being weak in Body but of Sound and perfect mind memory and Understanding (Praised be God for the Same) do make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament in the following Manner and Form That is to say

First I do Hereby Give and Devise unto my son William Blankley all that my Freehold Estate Situate Standing Lying and being at Granby in the County of Nottingham and in the Fields and Liberties thereof with all and Every the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining And also all that my Freehold Estate Situate Standing Lying and being at Plungar aforesaid and in the Liberties and Precincts thereof Together with all and Every the Appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to Hold the Said Estates at Granby and Plungar aforesaid to Him my said Son William Blankley and to His Heirs and Assigns For Ever

Item I Give and bequeath to my three Daughters Ann the wife of Henry Wass, Susannah the wife of John Brand and Sarah the Wife of Everett Stevenson the Sum of Five Shillings Each to be paid at my Decease

Item I give to my Grandaughter Mary Fri…ley one Red Ruggd Heifer Coming three years old to be delivered to Her as Soon as conveniently may be after my Decease

Item I give to my Granson Everett Stevenson Ten Shillings to be paid to his Father in Twelve Months after my Decease for the Use and behoof of my Said Granson as his Father thinks proper for him

All the Rest Residue and remainder of my Personal Estate as Goods and Chattels Household Goods and Implements of Husbandry and all other my Personal Estate of what kind soever after my Just debts Legacies and Funeral Charges are paid I give to my said Son William Blankley whom I also make and appoint to be my Executor of this my Last Will and Testament Utterly revoking all and every Former Wills by me before made, Ratifying and Confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the 28th Day of July 1770
