I the name of god amen I George Blancklye of Harbye in the countye of Leicester Taylor being sicke in bodye but of sound and perfect memorye thanks be to god doe make and ordayne this my laste will and testament in manner and forme following

First I bequeathe my Soule to allmightye god my maker hopinge to be Saved by the merritts of Jesus Christe my redemer and my bodye to the earthe from whence it came

Item I give unto my eldest sonne Thomas Twentye shillings and eight years lease of my house if my wife shall so longe live

Item I give unto my Sonne James twelve pence and that or four foure pounds to be lent unto him of my four youngeste Childrens porcons if it shall arise to so much my sonne James puttinge in good securitye for the repaying of it agayne within three years nexte after he shall receve

Item I give unto my foure youngeste Children and my welbeloved wife all the reste of my goods to be equally devided amongst them all

Furthermore I make my welbeloved wife my sole and full executrix of is my laste will and testament to see that my debts be payd and my body buryed

And I furthermore make and appoynte my welbelvoed and trustye frends John Brodall and Symon Weste my Supvisers to se this my will performed accordinge to my trewe intente and meaninge

In Wittnesse Whereof I have sette my hande the nineteenthe daye of September in the yeare of the raigne of our Sovereigne lord James by the grace of god King of England Scotland France and Ireland to wit of England France and Irelande the fiftenthe and of Scotland the one and fifteethe defender of the faythe &c 1617
