In the Name of God Amen the third day of February in the seaven & twentith yere of the raigne of our Soveraigne lord King Charles the second of England &c Anno Domi 1674 I William Blagge thelder late of Hose & now of Scalford in the Countie of Leicester yeoman being of good & perfect memory (praised be god for it) Doe make & ordain this my last will & testament in manner & forme following

First I give my soule to god that gave it me hopeing through Christs merritts to be made partaker of life everlasting And my bodie I comend to be decently buried And as for my worldly goods & chattles which god hath lent mee I give & bequeath as followeth (that is to say)

First I give & bequeath unto my Grandchild John Blagge twentie shillings to be paid unto him within one yeare next after my decease

Allsoe I give & bequeath unto my sonne William Blagge & to his wife twelve pence apeise

All the rest of my goods chattles & cattles whatsoever (my debts legacies & funerall expences being paid) I give & bequeath unto my sonne Thomas Blagge whom I make full & sole Executor of this my last will & testament Revokeing all former wills & testaments by mee heretofore made

In wittnes whereof I the said William Blagge thelder have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day & yere abovesaid
