In the name of God Amen I William Bishope of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Yeoman being Somewhat infirme in body but of Sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised by Almighty God for the Same do make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (That is to Say)

Impris I Comitt my Soul into the hands of God my Creator and my body to the Earth to be decently Interred at the discrecon of my Executrix hereinafter named And as to Such Temporal Estate it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as follows

Impris I give & devise unto my Loving wife Anne All my Lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with their and every of their Appurts Scituate Lying and being in Asfordby in the said  County of Leicester for and during the Terme of her naturall Life And from and immediately after her decease then I give & devise unto my Nephew William Bishope of Asfordby aforesaid husbandman and to his heirs and Assignes All my said Lands in Asfordby Subject nevertheless to the payment of the Severall Legacies hereinafter menconed That is to Say

Unto my Nephew John Bishope Eldest Son of my brother George Bishope deceased the Sume of Twenty pounds

And unto my Nephew Thomas Bishope one other of the Sons of my said brother George Bishope the Sume of Ten pounds

And unto my Nephew George Bishope one other of the Sons of my said brother George Bishope the Sume of Ten pounds

And unto my brother Thomas Bishope of Mounserrell in the said County of Leicester fellmonger the Sum of Five pounds

And unto my Nephew William Bishope Son of my said brother Thomas Bishope the Sume of Twenty pounds

And unto my Neice Sarah Bishope daughter of my said brother Thomas Bishope the Sume of Forty pounds

And unto Such person and persons to whom my Loving wife Shall thinke fit to bequeath and direct to be paid by her last Will and Testament in writing the Sume of Twenty pounds

All which Legacies I will Shall be paid by my said Nephew William Bishope of Asfordby aforesaid his heirs or assignes within Twelve months next after the decease of my said wife

And my Will & mind is and I do hereby charge all my said Lands tenements & hereditaments before menconed with the payment of all and every the Legacys aforesaid

Item I give and devise All that my Cottage or tenement with the appurts Scituate and being in Ab Kettleby aforesaid which I purchased to me and my heirs of and from Joseph Page unto my said Loving wife for and during the terme of her naturall life and from and immediately after her decease the I give & devise the said Cottage or tenement with the appurts in Ab Kettleby aforesaid unto my said Nephew William Bishope of Asfordby aforesaid and to his heirs and assignes fore ever

Item I give unto my said Neice Sarah Bishope One hafe of all my household goods

Item all the rest of my Goods Chattles Cattle and personall Estate whatsoever my debts (Except what I owe on Mortgage) Legacies and funerall expences being first thereout paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my said Loving wife Ann whom I hereby nominate and appoint full and Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made declaring this to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I the said William Bishope the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament put my hand and Seal this Twenty Seventh day of October And in the year of our Lord 1738
