This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Bishop of Grimston in the County of Leicester Gentleman (that is to say)

I give to my daughter Mary all my Plate except my Silver Tankard

I give and devise all my Real Estate which I have a power to dispose of and also all my Personal Estate whatsoever except the Plate bequeathed to be said Daughter unto my Sons Joseph and George and my said Daughter Mary equally to be divided between and amongst them share and share alike to take as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and to their several and respective Heirs Executors Admors and Assigns for ever subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences

Should it so happen that there may not be sufficient property to pay all my debts I hope and request that my Son James Thomas will see that the same are honorably discharged

I nominate and appoint my said Son James Thomas sole Executor of this my Will which I hereby declare to be my last Will and Testament and I revoke all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Bishop the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four
