In the name of God Amen I Anne Bishop of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Widow being Somewhat infirme in body but of Sound and disposeing mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God for the Same Do make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner & forme following

First and principally I Comitt my Soule into the hands of God who give it me and my body to the Earth to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as to my Estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose thereof as follows

Imprimis Whereas in and by the last Wil & Testament of my late husband William Bishop deceased he therein gave & devised after my decease All his Lands in Asfordby unto his Nephew William Bishope of the same his heirs and assignes Subject to the payment of the Severall Legacies therein menconed amongst which is Twenty pounds to be paid unto such person and persons whom I should thinke fit to bequeath & direct to be paid by my last will and Testament As in and by my said husbands Will relacon being thereunto had may fully appear

Now according to the power given me by the said concerning the bequest of the said Twenty pounds I do hereby give and bequeath the said Sume of Twenty pounds unto Charles Keene Son of my Neise Elizabeth Keene of Nottingham Widow to be paid him at the time menconed and according to the true intent & meaning of my said husband’s Will

Item I give and bequeath unto my said neice Elizabeth Keene the Sume of Ten pounds to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named within Twelve months next after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto the said Charles Keen All my Goods Chattles and personal Estate whatsoever he paying thereout All my debts the Legacy above menconed to his mother and my funerall Expences and I do make and appoint him the said Charles Keen full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revokeing all former Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made declaring this to be my last Will & Testament

In witness whereof I the said Anne Bishope the Testatrix have to this my last Will & Testament put my hand & Seale this Twenty first day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and forty one
