Thomas Bingham of Ab Kettleby 1850 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me The Reverend Thomas Bingham of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Clerk

I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences shall be paid by my executor

I give to my son William Bingham one annuity of three hundred pounds per annum to be paid quarterly on the twenty fourth day of June the twenty ninth day of September the twenty fourth day of December and the twenty fifth day of March the first payment to be made on such of those quarter days as shall first happen after my decease and I charge the said annuity upon my personal estate only and declare that the receipt of my said son William Bingham signed with his own hand after each of the said quarterly payments shall have become due shall be the only discharge which my executor shall be bound to accept for each of such payments and that it shall be lawful for my executor to require that my said son William Bingham shall attend at the Town Hall in Nottingham to receive and give receipts for the said annuity and to suspend the payments thereof until such requisition shall be complied with from time to time as my executor shall think proper

And subject to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expences and the said annuity I give all my money securities for money stock in the public funds And all my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my son Henry Coles Bingham his heirs and assigns for ever

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of August 1838
