In the name of God Amen the second day of November in the first yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of England Queene Defender of the faith Annoq Dni 1702 I William Berry of Scalford in the County of Leicester husbandman being (praised be God) in sound and perfect health mind and memory do make and ordaine this my Last will and testament in manner and forme following

First I humbly resigne my soule unto Almighty God my Creator and my body I Comitt to the earth to be decently Interred at the discrecon of Extors hereinafter named

And as for my worldly and Temporall estate I give and dispose thereof as hereafter followes; that is to say

Impris I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Berry and my sons in Law John Wilford John Flower and William Marshall one Shilling apiece

All the rest of my Goods Chattles Cattle and personall estate whatsoever unbequeathed my debts Legacies and funerall expences being first paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my two sons John Berry and William Berry whom I make and ordaine Joynt Extors of this my Last will and Testament Revokeing All former wills by me heretofore made

In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written
