In the name of god Amen In the iiiith daye of September And in the xxxith yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lady Elizabethe by the grace of god of England France and Ireland Queene Defender of the faythe as Anoq Doi 1589 Isabell Berrye of Scalforde in the countye of Leicester Widdowe weake in bodye but whole in minde and of good and perfecte memorye (thankes be to god therefore) do make and ordeyne this mye laste will and testament in manner and forme followinge

First I bequeathe my soule to allmightye god and mye bodye to be buried in the churche yard of Scalford aforesaid

Itm I give and bequeathe unto Raffe Berrye the sonne of Willyam Berrye one bullocke calfe one folden table and one paire of quornes

Itm I give to Richarde Berrye sonne to the said William one blacke cowe with a broken horne

Itm I give and bequeathe unto Roberte Berry sonne also of the aforesaid William one browne cowe

Itm I give and bequeathe unto Susanna Berry daughter to the said William my second best covering and my second best panne

Itm I give unto Isabell Berrye daughter to the said William my best covering my best mattrice my best panne

Itm I give to Alice Berrye daughter also of the aforesaid William two pewter platters

Itm I give and bequeath unto the said Susanna Berrye Isabell Berrye and Alice Berry one redd cowe and one blacke bald kowe equally to be devided amongst the three

Itm I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Russell Joyse Alline Margeret Wilkinsonne and Sislye Moore my foure daughters everye of them iiiid

Itm the reste of my goods unbequethed moveable and unmoveable I give and bequeathe unto William Berry my sonne whome I make and ordeyne my solle and full executoure

Itm I will that Robert Noble and Sethe Hosse shall be supervisors unto this my laste will and testamente
