June 14th 1698

In the name of our Lord God Amen I Tho Belton of Nether Broughton in the county of Leycestershire Weaver being in perfect memory praysed be God for it do make this my last wil & Testament

It I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker hoping thro the merritorious death & passion of Jesus Xt my only Sav: & Redeemer to receive free pardon & forgiveness of al my sins & as for my body I leave to be buryed at the discretion of my Executor

Item I do give to my Son Tho Belton my Shop & al materials thereunto belonging to my trade

Item I give to my daughter Jean twenty pounds to be payd one year after my death

I do also give to Jean my wife half of the houshold goods & I do make my Son Tho my Sole Executor of this my last wil & Testament revoking al other wills & Testament

These words half of being interlined before the sealing of this wil
