Robert Beeston of Eastwell 1832 Will

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Robert Beeston of Eastwell in the County of Leicester Clerk

In the first place I will and direct that all my lawful debts and funeral expences be first discharged

I then give and bequeath unto the Right Reverend Doctor Thomas Walsh of Wolverhampton in the County of Stafford The Reverend William Willson of Nottingham and the Reverend Joseph Bick of Eastwell in the County of Leicester my field or parcel of Land situate at Eastwell in the County of Leicester there called the corner close Pingle containing by measuration four acres two Roods and thirty five perches or thereabouts for their own use and benefit and their Heirs Executors and Assignees for ever

I give and bequeath unto Mrs Mary Wright now living with me my Tent Bed Stocks in Room over the Sacristy with the feather Bed Bolster Pillows Blankets Curtains and White Cotton Counterpane also all my Bed and Table Linen of what soever kind with Napkins and Towels also my wearing apparel of every kind

I also give unto the said Mary Wright my Silver Watch and all my Silver Spoons and all my Plate my China Glasses Tea cups saucers all my crockery ware and all my Household Furniture and Books not otherwise disposed of and to her heirs Executors and Assignees for ever

My will further is that all my live stock shall be sold to pay my debts and that what is still wanting for that purpose shall be taken from my funded property

I also give unto the said Mary Wright the annual income of all my remaining funded now in the three and a half percent fund reduced the payment to her to commence immediately after my death and to continue to be paid to her until the time of her death but in consideration of what I have bequeathed to the said Mary Wright my will and injunction is that the said Mary Wright shall pay an annuity of five pound sterling to my Sister Teresa Beeston now residing at Paris during the term of her natural life

After the decease of the said Mary Wright I give unto John Young Senior of Claseby [Claxby?] in the County of Lincoln Grazier four hundred pounds stock in the three and a half per cent fund reduced and to his Heirs Executors and Assignees for ever

As to what remains of my  funded property my Will is that it shall be equally divided between my Niece Catharine Little Wife of Thomas Little Senior of Corby Heath in the County of Lincoln Grazier and my Nephew Thomas Green of Birmingham in the County of Warwick and their Heirs Executors and Assignees for ever

My will moreover is that what I bequeath to my Niece Catherine Little of Corby Heath aforesaid shall be for her own use and her Heirs Executors and Assignees for ever and no ways subject to or under the control of her Husband

And I do hereby nominate and appoint the Reverend William Hayes of Kings Cliffe in the County of Northampton the Reverend Joseph Bick of Eastwell in the County of Leicester and Mary Wright of Eastwell aforesaid joint Executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking all former Wills by me made I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty ninth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty one

Signed Sealed and declared by the above named Robert Beeston the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses thereof

Proved at London 10th December 1832 before the Judge by the Oaths of the Reverend Joseph Bick Clerk and Mary Wright Spinster two of the Executors to whom Administration was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to Administer Power reserved of making the like grant to the Reverend William Hayes Clerk the other Executor
