In the name of God Amen the Twenty fift day of May 1730 According to the computation of the Church of England I Joell Beeson of Wartnaby in the Parrish of Roathley in the County of Leicester Tailer being of perfect Memory and Remembrance praised be God doe make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in manner and form following

First I Bequeath my soule to the hands of allmighty God my maker hopeing that through the Meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my onely saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and for my body to be Buried in Christian buriall at the Descretion of my Executors hereafter nominated

Item I give to my wife Elizabeth one house and homster and all purtinances thereunto belonging for the Terme of her Life and after her decease then to my son William and if my son William die without heirs then to my son John and if he die without heirs then my will is that it shall be devided half to my Relation that is the nyest Kin and the other half to my wifes Relation that is hir hyest kin and theire heirs for ever

I give to my wife Elizabeth all my houseold goods

Item I give unto my son John the sum of thirty pounds to be paid to him at one and Twenty years of age

All the rest of my quick goods and chattels I give to Elizabeth my wife and my son  William and doe make them my sole Executors of this my Last will and Testament upon condittion that they pay all my debts and Legacies utterly Revoaking all former wills that hath been by me made
