This is the Last Will and Testament of me Mary Allsopp of Park Road, Plumtree, in the County of Nottingham

I appoint my Friends, Joseph Peberdy of Mountsorrel in the County of Leicester, Insurance Agent, and Samuel Eggleston of Fernbanks, Hickling, near Melton Mowbray in the said County of Leicester, Retired Farmer, to be Executors of this my Will And I Bequeath to each of them who shall accept and act in the Executorship of this my Will the legacy or sum of Fifty Pounds duty free

I Bequeath the following Legacies, namely: To Sarah Ann Eggleston (Wife of the said Samuel Eggleston) the sum of Two hundred pounds duty free And to my God-daughter Winifred Peberdy (eldest daughter of the said Joseph Peberdy) the sum of Fifty pounds duty free

I Give Devise and Bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate both real and personal unto Betsy Helen Followes (who has for many years past been my Companion) for her own absolute use and benefit

Lastly I Revoke all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of May One thousand nine hundred and nineteen
