John Adcock of Harby 1813 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Adcock of Harby in the County of Leicester Farmer which I make in manner and form following (that is to say)

All my Messuages Cottages Closes Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate and Estates situate and being at Harby aforesaid or elsewhere in England I Give and devise direct limit and appoint unto my Son John Adcock his Heirs and Assigns for ever

All my ready Money Securities for Money and the Monies thereby secured Goods Chattels personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever charged with my Debts I give and bequeath the same unto my said Son John Adcock his Executors and Administrators

I Do hereby appoint my said Son John Adcock the Executor of this my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said John Adcock the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this thirteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven

Let a probat be granted to John Adcock of Harby in the County of Leicester Farmer sole Executor within named

He the said John Adcock being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the will and that the Testator’s Goods Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the sum of five hundred pounds
