This is the last Will and Testament of me William Adams of Wykeham in the parish of Rhodeley in the County of Leicester Grazier made this Twenty sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven as follows

In the first place I give and Devise unto my dear wife Mary Adams All that my Messuage or tenement with the home close and premises situate at Wykeham aforesaid now in my own occupation And also all that my Close or ground inclosed situate in Cawdwell in the said parish of Rhodely and now also in my own occupation with their appurtenances

To hold the same unto my said dear wife Mary Adams and her assigns for and during the Term of her natural Life And from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same hereditaments and premises unto my son Thomas Adams his Heirs and Assigns for ever

Subject nevertheless to and charged and chargeable with the payment of the Sum of one hundred and fifty pounds apiece to my two Daughters Mary Adams and Elizabeth Adams which I do hereby Give to them accordingly And I do hereby direct that the same sums of one hundred and fifty pounds apiece to my said Daughters shall be paid to them respectively as they shall respectively attain their age of Twenty one years in case my said wife shall be then dead but in Case my said wife Mary Adams shall be then living then my Will is That the said Legacies so given to my said Daughters shall be paid to them respectively within three Calendar months next after the decease of my said wife Mary Adams And that my said Daughters shall receive Interest for their said Legacies during their respective minorities in case my said wife shall depart this Life before they or either of them shall attain the Age of Twenty one years And in Case either of my said Daughters shall die before she shall attain her age of Twenty one years and without having any Child or Children her Surviving Then my Will is that the Legacy of her so dying shall go to and be paid to the Survivor at the same time as her own legacy so hereinbefore directed to be paid And in case both my said Daughters shall depart this Life under the Age of Twenty one years then my Will is that the said Legacies of one hundred and fifty pounds apiece hereinbefore given to my said daughters shall not … at all out of the Estate hereinbefore charged therewith but that in such Case my said Son Thomas Adams Shall have hold and enjoy the same free from the aforesaid Legacies

And I do hereby Give and bequeath unto my said Daughters all my monies securities for money household Goods furniture Linnen plate china Ware and personal Estate whatsoever (subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just Debts funeral Expences & the charges of proving this my Will And Subject to the Use of such part of my household Goods and furniture by my said dear wife Mary Adams during her Life as she shall find necessary) equally to be divided between them

And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said dear wife Mary Adams and my Brother in Law Stephen Adams joint Executors of this my Will In Trust for the purposes aforesaid
